This is a solid book. Familiar in tropes and world. Interesting choice to change the perspective from the previous book, but doing so allowed for more mystery. Annoyingly, the character development happens off screen-- between the two books of this series / in the character when they are not the focal character.
However, the twist at the end and the mystery in this book was more interesting and less obvious than in the previous book.
