The Throne of Fire by Rick Riordan
3.0
Spoilers
So we start off with the new characters[yes Bobo Bobolisnski, I will tell the names]. So the two new characters are Jaz and Walt. So as soon as I heard about Sadie's feelings for Walt, I groaned, and then almost threw the book on the ground. As if Sadie doesn't have enough boy, actually god problems they had to go and throw in another boy. So we learn that Walt is dying, which just adds another twist. The biggest problem I had with this book, is that Sadie is only thirteen( and a newly turned thirteen year old at that.). My point is that this is her first relationship and probably not her last. She is probably not going to stay with Anubis or Walt for the rest of her life, even if they find a cure for Walt.[Be quiet! Bobo Bobolisnski, don't tell them what happens in the last book] Now let's move on to the rest of the characters. So Sadie decides that even though the world is going to end in a couple of days she still needs to go celebrate her birthday. After gods save her, like usual, she gets scolded by Carter. Then a couple of days later Carter runs off to save the girl of his dreams. So I found the main characters reckless and annoying, even though the book tries to say Carter is boring. This book was my favorite of the series, only because Anubis kissed her and I freaked out. I understand that this whole review was all about the characters, but they were my main problem with the book.
Team Anubis Forever!!!!!!!
