I really wanted to like this book because I thought the plot was really interesting. But it didn't work.  The characters were really sarcastic and unperturbed that their friends were truly dropping like flies. There's a dead person found in the first 3% of the audiobook, before there's any time to settle in or get connected to any characters or really care about anyone. There could have been much more developing of characterizations.
