Beautifully written with exquisite storytelling. The prose and cadence perfectly captures what I believe is the crux of the book: Malala was juggling being a child and growing up in a war zone with a desire to change her world and her circumstances.
Graphic: Death, Gun violence, Misogyny, Violence, Blood, Murder, War, and Injury/Injury detail
Moderate: Gore, Police brutality, Islamophobia, and Kidnapping
Malala describes the horrors of war within Swat Valley and larger Pakistan.
