Invincible is one of m favorite comic series. The mixture of super heroes, soap opera, parody and humor creates a very enjoyable series. Guarding the Glode is a spin off of that series focusing on the other superheroes of the Invincible verse.
I felt that in Guarding the globe the soap part which I liked so much in Invincible took second seat for the action and parody. But other than that this was a fun,old school style superheroes team book. Lots of references to things like the Justice league and a very fast moving story.
