This was, expectedly, the poster of a gothic novel. I loved the mood and setting that the moods brought. I also loved the mystery shrouding the principal characters of the book. The one thing is that I did not find them sympathetic (which I don’t think I was supposed to) but was disappointed and a little unsatisfied by the ending with little consequence to Heathcliff and  the marriage between the cousins. I might have to do more research to what the significance of the ending might be and if it was meant to be positive.
