ART

The art in The Tea Dragon Society is beautiful, probably the most beautiful I've ever seen. I love the nearly line-less style, and the colours are just so pretty. The dragons are adorable, the character designs are supreme. I could rave about the art for forever, it's just that good.

PLOT

The theme of preserving memories through art is really cute and touching. My only complaint is that things moved insanely fast. This is a very short book, and it spans the course of a year. I wish we could've spent more time with these characters, and in this world, but I'm happy to get that in the companion novel!

CHARACTERS

I thought all the characters were quite charming! We've got lots of representation, which is always a plus. I'll include the dragons here too, because I'll be damned if I don't mention them. I want a tea dragon. There's some pages at the end of the book about tea dragon care, and different kinds of tea dragons. What I would give to have a cute lil ginger tea dragon.

EMOTIONS

This book was entirely whimsical, good feelings for me. There wasn't a page that made me feel anything but happy!
