This series is one of my favorite omegaverse stories out there. If I’m being honest, I don’t feel like the characters in book 2, line up with the way they were presented in book 1.
Lydia - I struggled to align the Lydia in book 1 with Lydia in book 2. This Lydia was more selfish, and honestly, I felt like she wasn’t taking her safety seriously. There were so many threats out there, but she was more focused on her establishing her independence. Granted, she has a traumatic past and has reasons for thinking the way she does. I just feel like she wasn’t like this in book 1.
Rhett, Mateo, Lucas, and Alexandra - still absolutely adore the St. Clair pack and everything they do for Lydia. I can’t wait for the five of them to get their happy ending because that cliffhanger?? I just can’t accept it….
