Overall, I thought it was interesting and a short good read of gothic literature. I'd be worried if I too saw those eyes. It makes you wonder if those red eyes following Culwin. It makes me wonder if he ever married Alice, but I felt bad for Gilbert, Alice's cousin. At certain times I felt a little lost in reading the story based on who was narrating it out of the three friends, but I think it's worth a read to see the difference of literary words used back then opposed to today.
