Veronika Decides to Die by Paulo Coelho
2.0
2.5/5 stars
I read other books for Paulo Coelho, but they were better than this one, I’m sorry.
The main idea of this book is eye catching, and what i loved about this book is that it goes immediately to the part when she attends suicide, and her reaction was hilarious when she woke up. But as the story went on, I felt there was nothing happening at all, all that Veronika wanted to do is find a way to kill herself before death gets her first, and that’s all what the book is about. I wanted to see things happening.
I know that I wasn’t reading a fantasy book or anything, but there was nothing really interesting about it. There were some parts that inspired me to do more in my life, and make things happen, but other than that i felt nothing about it. So I’m not exactly criticizing the book, but I’m not so happy about it either.
It was a light read, but I won’t stop reading more books by Paulo. I love his writing style.
