Nina is a female shifter only one since any female who transforms dies in the process. She had her first transformation after a house fires. 2 years after moving to new area she learns she not the only supernatural out there. This book has shifter vampires and fae......the fae are called winter and Christmas fae and i absolutely love that. Its a Unique spin on this and it yakes place around Christmas time....i cant wait for book 2
