Will My Cat Eat My Eyeballs?: Big Questions from Tiny Mortals about Death, by Caitlin Doughty
funny
informative
fast-paced
4.0
This was extremely fun. An approachable book on the details of death. Given its premise, it’s pretty scattershot, so it felt less comprehensive and more erratic in subject matter than something like Stiff or (I’m assuming) Doughty’s other books. But you get a lot of neat info I wouldn’t have thought to ask as a result, from a kind and death positive perspective.
Graphic: Death
Minor: Fatphobia
Minor fatphobia (at least one comment about “overweight” bodies, where it was used as a shorthand for unhealthy behavior).
