F the Shoulds. Do the Wants: Get Clear on Who You Are, What You Want, and Why You Want It. by Tricia Huffman

Did not finish book. Stopped at 14%.
This book repeats the idea of noticing the language you use and how it influences your worldview, how you present yourself to others, the behaviours you make.

It's good in that it feels like self help meets philosophy of language (without recognising that ancestry). I found it hard to read because it would keep using the same word, all the text was at the same level of intensity (mildish) and the font formatting changes a lot, kinda centring my reading back to the keywords, but I'm left feeling disoriented because my brain keeps returning to the word that has been emboldened or italicised, forgetting the idea I might've been developing.

I don't think I have enough brain space to parse-read books like this. Like books with too many boxes that repeat something already on the page.
