Queen's Shadow by E.K. Johnston

5.0

There’s not enough Padme content even if you’ve watched The Clone Wars too and if you have watched CW, then you’ll recognize the audiobook voice, which made this book EVERYTHING!!

There was a review that said Padme got the short end of the stick story time wise and ain’t that the truth. I truly appreciate this book for filling some serious details about her life between Episode I: The Phantom Menace and Episode II: Attack of the Clones. I kept finding myself wanting a full comprehensive history of the time between the end of Eps I and her initial thoughts when seeing Anakin again 10 years later.

This book delivers to fill in the blanks. Can’t wait until E.K. writes number 3 so we get some more of Anakin’s and Padme’s relationship because even 7 seasons of CW, I require more.

Excuse me while I go read Queen’s Peril IMMEDIATELY to read about all of the decoy handmaidens and Padme as Queen. So basically if you’re a prequels fan, a Star Wars book fan, and have watched CW, these are your books.
