I️ was super disappointed in this book after hearing how hyped it was. Rae was an unbearable pick me and I️ could not stand her. When she name dropped all time low and cigarettes after sex I️ just about laughed out loud at the forced edginess. Leon was just kind of boring. I️ have no idea what they like about each other besides sexual attraction and the plot wasn’t interesting enough to make up for the poor relationship building. I didn’t despise this book but as I️ reflect I️ just can’t say anything that I️ really liked about it. Maybe im just not super into dark romance I️ haven’t read a lot of them but I️ am an AVID paranormal romance girl and this comes no where near any of the books I️ love in that genre. The vibe of this was haunting Adeline but he’s a demon and I️ dislike that book too so maybe this vibe just isn’t my cup of tea lol.
