“They say the soul cannot rest until it finds its match. Then it ignites.”

oh my god saying this was beautifully written is quite the understatement. sure it was slow at some points for the sake of the plot but as a overall whole this is a rare almost perfectly done sequel and conclusion, duologies usually don't work for me probably because i want more content of the characters same goes for these two books but this duology wrapped up everything so well. i'm so sad i put off the ending for a while due to a slump, but i cannot wait to rr this duology in the near future. from the world building to the magic system, reading these adventures in arawiya were so captivating. the zumra's found family dynamic truly outmatched and zafiranasir, their angst to the depths of their love for each other, they mean everything to me. that ending had me a sobbing mess. full rtc in reread
