This is actually a prequel to Lou! #6, with some (much needed) explanations of the mysterious things happening in #6. A little bit of back to form for Lou!, and it also in my opinion made #6 better, in hindsight. Could be the last Lou! book; to me it felt a bit as an ending, even though most mysteries are not yet explained.
