The characters, the storyline, and the redemption arc are written soooo well. However, I don’t recommend reading this if you have a lot of triggers. A lot of this was EXTREMELY dark and I had to take some breaks from reading because it was simply too much in the first half. Even though Pam Godwin’s books are very dark and heartbreaking, her writing style is just so phenomenal I can’t stop reading from her.
