One Hundred Years of Solitude by Gabriel García Márquez
1.0
**1.5**
I felt so stupid during and after reading this. I understand its a cultural thing but I struggled so much with so many of the characters having the same name. I referred to the family tree so many times but this still didn't help me too much.
I'm so disappointed by this as I was so excited to read this book and thought I would love it. Some of the prose is beautiful which I love but it sadly didn't help me much in understanding the storyline and connecting with the characters.
I will need to re-read this about 10 years in the future when I think I might be able to understand it.
