I was really looking forward to reading this book, but was disappointed when it didn't reach out and grab me. (This may have been more about my headspace than the book). I'm interested in learning more about the world building, which felt like it needed a bit more definition, but I loved the multi-cultural vibes. The book could have been a little longer in order to better define the world, but hopefully that will come in the second book. The ending was a wild ride that had several twists I was not expecting, and I can't wait to read the next instalment!
