Song of the Dead by Sarah Glenn Marsh
2.0
The first book was so unique. The story was interesting and action packed and well written. There was a love story in it but it did not take over the narrative. I was so excited for this sequel.
However, this book was way more wrapped up in the potential love stories and it lost the beauty of the story. I loved that sexuality is not a focus of this story. People love who they love. I did not like how caught up in the past each of the characters were at different times.
I felt like I was slogging through hormone filled mud. I love you but my dead partner is the love of my life and I can’t leave them alone. It was not what I’d hoped for at all
