are you ever just like “I think I read pretty good books” and then you read cormac mccarthy and you’re like “oh”

this book is stunning. I’m gonna be thinking about it for a very long time. if I can give any advice though do not choose this one as your first mccarthy book, and pay attention to trigger warnings
