ooh. really good exploration of media censorship and the violence/lengths that a government will go to enforce it
it’s really nice seeing hyun sook’s character development and how she outsmarts the cop in the later scene with just. talking about other corruption and things he doesn’t want to hear 
the end of the book is. poignant. reunion time! but also this isn’t over! we’re not alone in this! 
hey they also deal with sexual crime. a good mention
a nice look into college student life while protesting this government. esp considering it’s made up from a blend of anecdotes the characters feel separate and realized in small lives that make these large events especially effective
