This was a ride!
I absolutely adored the character development. I was fond of Holt and Ash from the first book, and I somewhat liked Talia, but this book really strengthened the investment in all of them. The character growth is immensely satisfying, and ngl I'm rather proud of them.
I do wish the series had a map, it was a struggle to remember each country, their significance, and their geographical location, but since that didn't impair my reading experience too much, I'll let it slide.
Just... ahhh, such a great book! Highly recommend if you're into dragons, battles, political shenanigans, and character growth :D
The wait for the next one in the series is going to be terrible.
