The Death and Life of Great American Cities by Jane Jacobs

It's amazing how well this >60 year old book holds up. This book answered questions I didn't even know I had about many of the things we still are figuring out today (gentrification, public housing, etc.). It was also fun to read after [b:The Power Broker: Robert Moses and the Fall of New York|1111|The Power Broker Robert Moses and the Fall of New York|Robert A.
