When I was in high school I read "A Good Man is Hard to Find" and I loved it. Unfortunately, although well-written, I didn't love O'Connor's other stories. There were so many that I finished thinking, "what the heck just happened?" or "what was the purpose of that?" As such, it took me forever to read this. I can't even count the number of times I had to recheck this one out.

If you're a big fan of short stories go for it, but otherwise you can skip it.
