The Lathe of Heaven by Ursula K. Le Guin

5.0

Oh so good! The book starts with a simple premise: a man who dreams "Effective" dreams that come true and change reality. Only he remembers the previous realities. He tries to prevent himself from sleeping and is eventually sent to therapy. The book is about the man's relationship with his therapist and how the therapist/psychiatrist responds to George's powers. A fascinating study in good intentions gone awry.

Ursula Le Guin is quickly becoming my favorite writer. What a powerhouse!
