I went in to this, expecting more than what I got. I will say that if I had read this book before I read The Ritual, I probably would never have read The Ritual.
This is in the same world as it both none of the characters, that I remember, are in this book.
This is very short and I will say this is definitely a lot of porn and a sprinkle of plot.
Another thing I’m beginning to realise, is the roughness kink where you are hitting your partner or slapping them. Carving things into them is just not my thing.
Oh that’s really heavy in this very short book. It took me out a lot to the point where I didn’t get any enjoyment from a lot of the scenes.
But I will say that I’m glad that Colton and Raylee their HEA in the end!
