Good colorful characters

I really enjoyed the relationship between Kee and Varro as well as getting to know them individually. After the first book I was hoping to get their story. What I really loved about Kee was how relatable she was to a neurodivergent reader. How she processes information, hyper-fixates on projects, and forgetting information. I enjoyed seeing her grow as a character and the fact that Varro embraced her and didn't try to change her.
Kee and Varro's relationship is probably one of my new favorites. They learn how to communicate with each other, how to be supportive while being protective, and are a good example of lovers who are friends.
