My Happy Marriage, Volume 2 by Akumi Agitogi, Rito Kohsaka

4.0

“I want to release her from this pain already.”

In this volume Miyo began to put her walls up once again after an awful interaction with her sister. But what I loved most was getting to see her then open up to Kiyoka afterwards was so heartwarming, especially with the way he so easily tries to comfort her—even if it’s foreign to him, he wants to make her feel better which I love about him. You can already tell that Kiyoka is slowly falling for Miyo, his actions speak volumes. And that is ever so prevalent in the end scene when he literally destroys anything in his path in order to get to Miyo.

“You should rely on me more. Lean on me all you need. Tell me how you feel, and come to me when you want.”

Also, I so enjoyed the dinner scene with Godo, Kiyoka and Miyo. Godo is such a fun character I hope to see more of him. FINALLY! KOJI?! what was that confession? Because wdym you think the only way to bring Miyo peace is to “kill her…and then kill myself.” You couldn’t have possibly thought that all the way through. Very alarming to say the least!

“To me, though, you are neither useless nor powerless.”
