The Children on the Hill by Jennifer McMahon

5.0

I really enjoyed this one. It's been a while since I thoroughly enjoyed a book. I usually hate split timeline plots, but in this the stories just worked. I loved the childhood innocence of chasing monsters. There are so many deep layers happening here. It really does make good use of the philosophy of Frankenstein. Who is really the monster? The twists as the story concludes had me OMG. Then O-M-G. And finally, I literally dropped the book. Recommended!
