The Seven Year Slip by Ashley Poston

3.5

⭐️⭐️⭐️✨🌶️ Wow this book takes you through a rollercoaster of emotions. Not very far into this book I knew it would hurt my heart &it most definitely did 😩. Grief is a fickle bitch &can affect everyone so differently.

* The writing was well done. It held my attention. There were a couple times I had to rewind &make sure I understood the time travel part &where we were at in the story.

* I did want more time shown with Clementine &Iwan in the past. I feel like we only got 2, maybe 3 short meet ups in the past to show a whole love story which wasn’t enough for me.

* There were multiple 🤯 moments throughout the book. A few I guessed &the other ones were nice additions to the story (that made me sob lol).

* The narration was very well done. She definitely brought the emotion to the pages.

* There were a lot of things I could relate to in the story that made the book more touching. Overall it was really good but I just wanted more of a history between the characters for the present day love to show.
