The core of the story is interesting, and I can definitely understand why so many people really enjoy it. But for me the execution of the story was where this book let me down.

Pro: interesting take on how to deal with tyrants, the slow burn politics, the use of the prince & the commoner opposition.

Con: lots of telling how character change throughout the story, and we see them act differently but why they change or what causes them to see different felt missing it made me sad about some time jumps as I would have loved to see that.
