Brant's Return, by Mia Sheridan

5.0

I LOVED this book so much!! Brant's Return was a very classic Mia Sheridan book, and exactly why her books move me in a deep way.
From the begining prologue, I was hooked. I made assumptions right away about what was going to happen, but I was very wrong.
Isabelle and Brant seem to be ill-suited from the beginning, as he is the buttoned-up blowhard son of Isabelle's beloved, but cranky, boss. Their first interactions hold so much passion, and the Mia Sheridan conversations that cause me to reflect on my own self.
"Other people carry pain too. Even your father."
I don't want to share too much, as this is not only a beautiful and moving story of love, forgiveness, and growth, but it is also a story of mystery and suspense. My insinuations from the beginning were wrong, then what I assumed in the middle, and finally it all came together in the end in a big way. I really loved this book, and I highly recommend it to all romance lovers
