A Storm of Swords by George R.R. Martin

4.0

Gosh, that took forever. Martin is a skilled writer, I’ll admit. I’ve been wanting to dislike is books because of their reputation but he spins a good story. I loved Jaime’s character development and that the supposedly “good” characters are actually morally grey. I wished better for the Starks, though. There were some redeeming deaths to counterbalance, but now I’m not sure who’s going to rule this big steaming pile of crap called Westeros. You can’t really invest in anyone and that makes it harder to stick with the story.
