What I liked:
* Great, complex cast of characters, with the side characters as well developed as the leads.
* Complex plot with twists I did not see coming.
What I didn't like:
* The leads got out of the jam at the end through way too many sheer coincidences and everything wrapped up too neatly. It felt out of keeping with the gritty realism of the rest of the novel.
