I don't read very many smut books, but I would say that this isn't borderline just porn. It does a proficient job at being an actual book with a plot that happens to be a smutty story. Characters are fine and the plot is okay. Basically cliche in every way possible. The two characters have enough chemistry to keep you engaged even if at times it is a bit flat. But they did have moments that I found cute.
