Only giving this 2 stars bc it lays out the story line for the movie (and the movie is fun to watch). TBH if I wasn’t buddy reading this, I would’ve DNF-ed. Bella is absolutely insufferable with her obsession with Edward. Their constant questioning is a bore…like why is 3/4 of the book just them asking dumb shit like “what’s your favorite color?” I liked Edward’s flirting at first, but when they got together, it just went downhill. I also hate how Bella treats Charlie. My man is just trying to be a good parent, but I guess Bella is just used to parenting her mother she doesn’t know how to react. Also also, they said I love you so fast, and Bella didn’t even know Edward played piano….yeah this is fucking dumb. My middle-school self was wild for thinking this was good literature. Stephanie is out here acting like she wrote a literary master piece smh 🙄
