I really loved this book. I was so invested in Lamya’s story and the narrative was written so beautifully. I feel like so much resonated with me and my experience especially the part about
picking your battles that came at the end
despite it being a completely different experience than my own. I also loved how different stories from the Quran and duahs were woven into the text.
