Listening to the series is such a happy experience. I adore the smart female characters, and Esther is no exception. Jonathan is someone I relate to a lot less because he is a screen writer, which is something I am unfamiliar with. However, I really enjoyed his interactions with Esther. I think both of them experienced significant character growth throughout this book, and it gave them a real depth. I wasn’t the biggest fan of Esther’s friend, but for plot reasons, I understand her purpose. Her friend gave it a little bit more rudeness to the story, but I could’ve done without her. I loved how the characters from the previous book me an appearance, but in a slightly unexpected way. Overall, this is just a cute and happy romcom to read. 4⭐️, 1.5🌶
