Nice cozy mystery with a shifter heroine who tries to live among humans. Her backstory is pretty grim for a cozy.
Apparently this book is part of an existing world, and other stories by the author came before this series.
The mystery was interesting enough, the listen short and sweet. There is enough stuff going on for one or more sequels.
Two dogs play an important role, and we get to meet a lot of people, all of whom have reasons for wanting the murder victim dead.
