this is kind of an incredible debut !!!! i am obsessed. brat summer for all
a very surreal autofiction about grief and the cycles, parallels, and choices inherent to the passage of time. i can best describe the tone as itch-inducing ? in a very compelling way!! the plot is not a mystery, or a thriller, or a big conspiracy, or a mental illness, but actually absurd and haunting self-reflective prose told largely through stories-within-the-story. slay!
will not be for everyone which is simply fine by me bc as long as weirdo neurotic books keep getting published i’ll keep buying them <3
