This is without a doubt my FAVORITE stand alone Lucy Score book. One think that’s I’ve always loved about her characters is that they’re at least in their 30s and I find myself relating to them a bit more.

Marley is a down on her luck 38 year old that lives back home and into her parents. She takes a temporary job as the high school soccer coach and gym teacher. There she runs into her high school nemesis and the form or bad boy, Jake, that broke her heart. Through reconnecting with him and bonding with the teenage soccer girls, Marley starts to rebuild the self confidence she lost and heal old wounds left from before she left home after she graduated.

This is seriously one of the funniest books I’ve read. I laughed out loud often enough that my husband is now going to read it!! (I’m so excited for this!) I could very easily reread this several times and never be tired of it. If you’re unfamiliar with Lucy Score this is a great book to start with! 10 out of 5 would (and do) recommend
