White Trash Warlock by David R. Slayton

2.0

2.5 stars.

There are definitely people who'll enjoy White Trash Warlock in its entirety. I unfortunately wasn't one of them, but I went in with pretty high expectations that were never fully met. The premise was incredible—brothers being forced back together to face some supernatural threat—but the amount of subplots Slayton built in gave me whiplash. There were so many threads branching off from the main story, and due to the length, there just wasn't enough space for storylines and even characters to be properly explored and developed.
