Review: 

Okay, this series went downhill. Homophobia, dubious or manipulated consent (non consensual body modification—although temporary), still not stating if the FMC is like 12 or not. 

 

You know when you feel like a story is just responding to the fandom by doing the exact opposite of what they want instead of following the story and where it seems to be leaning? Yeah, that’s what happened here. We’re supposed to root for the main MC, but I don’t see how we could, given his homophobia, harmful commentary, control issues, and complete lack of caring for anyone, let alone the FMC. So then the plot and characters just shoved their way down the path that would make the FMC end up with that guy, rather than the much-preferred option of the ‘bad boy.’

 

I read 4 volumes in one day, and they went downhill more each volume. So I won’t be finishing the last 4.
