I listened to this on a couple of lengthy car trips. At one point, I got the CDs mixed up - the sad thing was I didn't notice. Because this story is so boring that that chapters are pretty interchangable.

I thought the premise was interesting - bad guy shrinks people, they escape, and try to survive in the flower bed. I didn't like how "convenient" a lot of the plot twists were - characters who just happened to bring their backpack, curative elixirs, etc into the shrinking machine with them.

The measure of a good audio book (to me) is if you drive around the block when you get home to finish the chapter/disc/book. When AM static is prefereable, you know it is getting draggy.
