The Cat Who Saved Books by Sōsuke Natsukawa
reflective
3.0
There is one major problem with the book: it's premise and writing style attracts readers it criticizes throughout the story.
The premise of the book is very intruiging: a well-read boy, guided by a wise cat, has to defeat people who are treating books 'unfavorably'. Not by extraordinary battle but by a battle of wits instead.
The resolution of these 'battles' feel anticlimactic when they are simply putting down the readers behaviour...
