This year I have been cursed with bad to meh books. I am glad to announce that the curse seems to be broken.

Let me say that the book delivers on its promises. There are secret societies, murder and loads of encounters with the occult. Which, just so happens to be right up my ally. I really enjoyed not knowing what was going to happen. All the twists and turns, really were twists and turns. The foreshadowing was just right, to the point were you could reread it and see the connections, but it didn't scream the answer in your face. My only problem was the whole wheelwalker thing. It did feel kind of out of the blue, but it didn't ruin the story for me. All in all an enjoyable read.

Also, the whole "get in losers we're going to hell" bit, amazing set up for the next book.
