The Implacable Order of Things by José Luís Peixoto

1.0

Poetic? Yes
Devoid of a true story? Yes
Overliy indulging in philosoph-o-poetic turns of phrases to the point of becoming irritatingly repetitive? Very much yes
I didn't understand this book and I very much didn't like it.
The quirkiness was interesting and gripping, but only for the first 10-20 pages.
Alas, I cannot recommend this, and yet - if you read it, please tell me why it got such high scored, cause I still don't get it.
