The Garden on Sunset: A Novel of Golden-Era Hollywood by Martin Turnbull

5.0

I was utterly charmed, all the way through. Marvelously crafted characters, a fabulous period piece, and a wonderful handling of all manner of issues (honestly, one of the best managings of an abortion narrative without being an abortion narrative I've ever encountered). I immediately went out and bought the other 3, and I imagine I'll be following the series right through to the end.
